Senior Club

Onward House’s West Town facility maintains a long tradition of providing a forum for our neighborhood seniors to come together as part of the “Onward Friendship Club.” The club is a mechanism for providing a community and combating isolation for our seniors aged 60 and over.

Members of the Onward Friendship Club gather on Tuesdays for socializing and camaraderie. The club also enjoys outings to attractions throughout the city and participates in programs offered by the Department on Aging.

Additional senior assistance made available by Family Support Services:

• The Onward House Food Pantry;
• Emergency services;
• Home visits;
• Transportation;
• Workshops on health, finance, and city services.
